Modular Refining

Cagnew Energy Services (Cagnew ES) designs our equipment and processes to deliver the highest possible financial return for each project scenario. In most cases our customers recover their initial investment in 8 to 18 months. The following table shows the typical profits utilizing West Texas Intermediate (WTI) Crude Oil and producing the basic products of Naphtha, Kerosene, Diesel, Heavy Fuel Oil, and Residual.

Cagnew Energy Services (Cagnew ES) provides true modular refining equipment and solutions on a global scale.  Our services include engineering and design, environmental studies and permitting, equipment manufacturing, operational and maintenance training / execution, and turn key solutions.

Cagnew Energy Services (Cagnew ES) manufactures the necessary equipment to produce a variety products. The financial feasibility of producing these products depends largely upon the characteristics of the crude oil used as well as market conditions. Another benefit of a modular refinery is the ability to add production capability in stages, thus allowing a smaller initial CAPEX.  Additionally the modular refinery equipment is capable of utilizing multiple crude types, and producing multiple products with the same equipment.  The following tables illustrate some of the production scenarios and associated equipment.

Cagnew Energy Services (Cagnew ES) offers two type of plants, Continuous Operation and Batch Operation. Continuous plants are designed to operate 24/7/365 and remain in a stationary location. Batch plants are designed to be turned on and off frequently, and in many cases are portable. The following Table lists the standard plant sizes, and custom sizes are also available. Larger capacity plants are achieved by utilizing multiple plants in parallel.

  • Naphtha
  • Kerosene
  • Diesel
  • Heavy Fuel Oils
  • Vacuum Fuel Oils
  • Residual
  • Gasoline (85 - 97 Octane)
  • JET Fuels (JET A, JET A1, JP54, etc.)
  • Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD, EN590, etc.)
  • IMO 2020 Compliant Bunker Fuel (VLSFO)
  • Bunker Fuel (MGO, IFO 380, IFO 180)
